The Role

 

We are seeking an experienced Gynecologist (MD/DO) to join our team as a Senior Clinical Lead. This is a senior-level position responsible for both direct patient care and clinical oversight of our care team, which includes Nurse Practitioners, Health Coaches, and support staff. This role is central to our mission of delivering the highest quality perimenopause and menopause care in the region.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive clinical care for women in perimenopause and menopause, including assessment, diagnosis, and personalized treatment planning.
  • Prescribe and manage hormonal therapies (HRT/bioidentical hormones) as well as non-hormonal treatment options.
  • Address sexual and pelvic health concerns, including vaginal dryness, incontinence, and related conditions.
  • Perform and manage routine preventative screenings (breast exams, Pap smears, pelvic exams, bone density scans).
  • Monitor long-term risks such as cardiovascular health and osteoporosis, with preventive care and lifestyle guidance.
  • Supervise and support the clinical team under the management of the Vice President, ensuring adherence to best practices, protocols, and patient-centered care standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary partners, including mental health providers and health coaches, to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
  • Participate in ongoing program development, clinical education, and protocol refinement for Horizen Medical.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree with board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Ohio (or ability to obtain).
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience post-residency; experience in perimenopause/menopause care strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRT, integrative alternatives, and evidence-based lifestyle medicine approaches or interest in learning more about the specialization, as we are willing to provide paid training
  • Leadership experience in overseeing or collaborating with advanced practice providers (NPs/PA-Cs).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient relationship-building skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification from The Menopause Society (MSCP) or willingness to obtain
  • Additional licensure in surrounding states (KY/IN)

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care for women experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and related midlife health challenges.
  • Conduct patient assessments, review medical histories, order and interpret labs, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage hormonal therapies (HRT/bioidentical hormones) and non-hormonal alternatives when clinically appropriate.
  • Address issues of sexual and pelvic health, including vaginal dryness, low libido, and incontinence.
  • Support patients through lifestyle guidance, including weight management, nutrition, sleep hygiene, and stress reduction.
  • Collaborate closely with the Gynecologist and broader care team to ensure seamless, multidisciplinary care.
  • Provide ongoing patient education, answering questions and empowering women to make informed decisions about their health.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our EMR system, ensuring compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing with current Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP, WHNP, AGNP, or similar)
  • Active and unrestricted Ohio license with prescriptive authority (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in Women’s Health, Gynecology, Primary Care, or Endocrinology or similar modalities
  • Interest in/passion for perimenopause and menopause management, including hormonal and non-hormonal treatments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to foster long-term patient relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification from The Menopause Society (MSCP) or willingness to pursue

Responsibilities

  • Perform mammography and DEXA procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards.
  • Review patient histories and requested services for appropriateness and completeness.
  • Explain procedures clearly and compassionately to patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding.
  • Prepare and process imaging studies, ensuring availability for radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures and patient interactions.
  • Assist with accreditation compliance, quality assurance testing, and evaluative equipment checks.
  • Support follow-up care by tracking results and coordinating with clinical staff to ensure timely communication with patients.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to maintain current knowledge and licensure requirements.

Qualifications

  • Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent education/experience).
  • Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State licensure in Ohio as a Radiologic Technologist. One year of mammography experience preferred; new graduates with strong interest in women’s health will be considered.
  • Willingness to obtain advanced certification in mammography within 12 months of hire (if not already held).
  • Strong technical skills with digital imaging systems and EMR platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach.

The Role

 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) to join our care team. The Medical Assistant will work closely with our Gynecologist, Nurse Practitioners, Health Coaches, and clinical staff to provide both direct patient support and administrative assistance.

 

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and escort them to exam rooms, ensuring a comfortable and professional experience
  • Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and other clinical information accurately in the EMR system
  • Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient visits and procedures
  • Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed
  • Perform basic laboratory tasks such as specimen collection and processing
  • Manage patient flow to ensure timely and efficient clinic operations
  • Support inventory management, including ordering and stocking medical supplies
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and provide a professional, supportive first impression of the clinic
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and ensuring accurate documentation
  • Answer phone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and schedule appointments with efficiency and compassion
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day
  • Manage patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy in the EMR system
  • Support billing, prior authorizations, and other administrative needs as required
